However, coffee doesn't last forever, so it's up to you to look after it. Roasted coffee beans, stored properly in a cool dark place, will make great coffee for up to 10 days, but once ground, will be at their tastiest for only a matter of minutes.

Buy little and often

We recommend that you buy as little as possible, as often as possible, and keep your coffee in our zip-lock bags in a cool dark place. DO NOT refridgerate or freeze your coffee! Changes in temperature, and in particular the condensation formed as the coffee warms up again, will do far more damage to the coffee rather than preserving it.

Grind your own

Buying a decent burr grinder is the best investment you'll ever make in quality coffee. Coffee ground freshly before use tastes infinitely better than coffee ground 5 days ago at the store. It's worth spending the money, because you get what you pay for, plus you'll get much better bang for your buck buying a decent grinder than spending that extra money on a machine.
