When it comes to getting the best coffee, having a good quality burr grinder really makes all the difference. Freshly ground coffee can make a simple plunger or filter coffee truly great (with a little help from our handy brewing guides), and if you own an espresso machine, you'll never get the full potential from it without a suitable grinder. In the case of home espresso, expect to spend around 1/3 of the price of your machine on a grinder, and for other brewing methods, simply look for a "burr" grinder.
